To go on the TOUR, you must have a valid passport, which will not expire until 6 months after the scheduled tour, and, if you are an American citizen, contact us oksanalove.com or give us a call 1- 408 - 244 - 4377 . We will assist you with booking your flight. Our agency in Kazakhstan will issue you an invitation for a 30 days visa to Kazakhstan.
If you give us a fax number we can send the visa application to you as soon as you order. Or we can send it to you as a Word 2000 document by email. Don't worry so much if your computer doesn't show the Russian fonts. The application is OK for its English component.
We will give you exact instruction how to fill out the Visa Application Form, when you sign up. Attach 1 passport photo with a paper clip to the upper right hand corner along with your passport. Write your name in block letters on the back of the photo (in case one of their staff drops it). |

TOURIST VISA |
|
Kazak Tourist Visa can be single entry or double entry, and is issued for no longer than 30 days, but once in Almaty it can be extended. For a Tourist Visa, please submit:
- A completed Visa Application Form.
- A passport size photo (color or black and white) of the applicant.
- An original passport (PHOTOCOPY NOT ACCEPTED).
- A money order or company check made payable to the Consulate of Kazakhstan in New York is accepted (NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS).
- If application is made by mail, enclose a self-addressed envelope with prepaid postage or prepaid, completed express mail air bill.
- Invitation letter from the hosting tourist company in Kazakhstan.

| How much money in foreign currency can I bring to Kazakhstan? |
| You can legally bring to Kazakhstan any amount of cash, however you are required to declare the amount upon entering the country. You can legally take out of Kazakhstan as much cash as you brought in with you or less. |
| Are there Currency Exchange offices in Kazakhstan? |
| Yes, there are many of them, on the streets, in shops, practically everywhere. You can legally exchange foreign currency in Kazak banks. |
| Are there any restrictions on the travel checks (Thomas Cook, American Express, Visa etc.) or credit cards in Kazakhstan? |
| No, there are no restrictions. Credit cards need not to be declared, but we recommend that you declared your travelers checks. Kazak banks can cash your travel checks. You can also buy travel checks in Kazak banks. |
| I take medication. Is it OK to bring medical drugs to Kazakhstan? |
| Yes, in reasonable quantities for personal consumption, but just in case have a copy of your doctor's prescription with you. |
| I have non-consumer radio equipment (i.e. walkie-talkie, GPS, radio transmitter). Is it legal to bring it to Kazakhstan? |
| You are strongly advised to leave ALL of your "James Bond" equipment. This kind of equipment can also be construed as equipment used for spying. Please, leave them at home. This is not a survival camp, and we very much hope that you will never get lost in Almaty. City maps are available and we will provide you with our local office numbers and even a mobile phone number. |
| I have an invitation to visit Almaty in Kazakhstan. Having received my visa, will I be able to visit other cities in Kazakhstan? |
| Yes. |
| I lost my Visa to Kazakhstan. Can I be issued a duplicate? |
| Yes, we will have one issued for you, however you will have to pay the minimum-processing fee again and it could take up to 7 business days. |
| How do I invite my friends or relatives FROM Kazakhstan to the United States? |

| When in Kazakhstan, can I change my visa status (i.e. from tourist to business or from business to educational and vice versa)? |
| No, you cannot change your visa status being in Kazakhstan. In order to do that, you have to leave the country and re-enter on different visa. |
